About Southwestern Human Services

Southwestern Human Services is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization providing quality mental health services for adults, children, adolescents and families in the southwestern Pennsylvania area.

Through our full range of outpatient-based psychiatric and psychological services, we provide confidential mental health services for clients in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

We pride ourselves in providing personalized, patient and kind services. Enhancing the quality of each person's life is our mission. You will never be "just a number" with us. Each situation is unique, and we approach your treatment individually, catered toward your specific needs. There is no cookie-cutter way to provide effective services to children and families in need.

Culture and gender-specific services are provided upon your request.

All of our services are kept strictly confidential. Most insurances are accepted, and affordable services are available for the underinsured to uninsured. Fees may be based on a sliding scale when required.

Southwestern Human Services is a Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic licensed by The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare/Office of Mental Health & Substance Abuse.

Southwestern Human Services provides services to all persons in need of mental health treatment and services regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, ethnic origin, physical or mental disability, veteran or economic status.
